Meet and Craft with Local Author Laura Bird

Join Wisconsin middle grade author Laura Anne Bird on Wednesday, July 2 (1-2pm) for a celebration of her latest novel, MARVELOUS JACKSON. 

Laura will provide two easy crafts, perfect for kids and grown-ups of all ages, and she'll also bring a sweet treat that goes along with her baking-forward story of a 13-year-old boy who finds a new sense of hope and purpose when he decides to audition for the Marvelous Midwest Kids Baking Championship television show. 

Laura will read an excerpt from her award-winning book, talk about her creative inspiration, and answer questions.
